    January Worldwide Devotional for Young Adults

    Elder Gerrit W. Gong of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and Sister Susan Gong will speak at a worldwide devotional for young adults on January 10, 2021.

    Elder Gong will share three invitations that will help you become more valiant in the testimony of Christ. 

    In a December 30 social media post, Elder Gong wrote, “My friends, I recognize you face many challenges, and I know many of these challenges have been amplified during the pandemic.

    “However, I also know how I — and many others — have been able to gain strength through Jesus Christ in difficult times.”

    The broadcast will be transmitted live on the Church satellite system, ChurchofJesusChrist.org, YouTube, Latter-day Saints Channel and other media on Sunday, January 10, 2021, at 6 p.m. mountain standard time.

    All adults ages 18–30, whether single or married, and students who will be finishing high school or the equivalent by the end of April 2021 are invited to participate.

    Shortly after the live event, a recording of the devotional will be archived on the Latter-day Saints Channel, YouTube, Gospel Media and Gospel Library under Young Adults, which may be streamed or downloaded at any time.

    Local leaders are encouraged to determine a viewing date and time that best serves the young adults in their area. With the COVID-19 pandemic, please continue to follow local and First Presidency guidelines regarding gathering to participate in this event.
